SYNOPTIC SITUATION: High pressure remains slow moving to the E. Frontal systems push into the NW overnight.
WIND: SW or NW light to moderate, S moderate in the NW.
WEATHER: Residual showers dying out to leave a dry night with clearing skies across the UK. Cloud thickening in the west, however, bringing rain to Northern Ireland and western Scotland by dawn, some of which will be locally heavy for a time.
